I was friends with Gene Kelly and his daughter Kari on facebook and communicated with him and his family often.  He was suffering from cancer when we first connected on facebook.  He died in January 2011.  He lived in Boise, Idaho.  His wife's name was Roxie.  He was born March 6, 1943. 

William "Gene" Kelly, 67, of Boise, died Thursday, January 13th at his home in Boise. There will be a viewing on Monday, January 17th from 5-7 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, 3629 E. Ustick Road, Meridian, Idaho. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18th also at Summers Funeral Home, Ustick Chapel, Meridian. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.
