Robert “Bobby” Glenn Wines

:            Bobby Wines, 69, of Calhoun Falls died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his home. He was born in Canton, NC to the late Ray and Lucille Warren Wines. Mr. Wines was a dedicated employee of Connie Maxwell Children's Home for 38 years where he recently retired from his position as Supervisor of grounds and maintenance. He was a member of Connie Maxwell Baptist Church. In his spare time, Bobby thoroughly enjoyed bass fishing and hunting on occasion. His reliable and faithful work ethic could be seen throughout every aspect of his life. Bobby is survived by a son, Tim Wines, and his wife, Missy, of Troy; a daughter, Leslie Davis, of Honea Path; a brother, Ray Wines, Jr, and his wife, Shirley, of Canton, NC; a sister, Judy Presnell, of Lake Junaluska; two grandchildren, Matthew Going and Graham Wines; and close family friends, Henry Woodard and his family, of Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM-2:30PM Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Connie Maxwell Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the church. Burial will follow in Connie Maxwell Children's Home Cemetery. The family is at their respective homes.
