Judith "Judy" Case Kirkpatrick
Sunday, February 20, 1944 - Thursday, October 17, 2024
Dearly Loved and Deeply Missed
On Thursday, October 17, 2024, our beloved Judith "Judy" Case Kirkpatrick went home to be with the Lord. She passed peacefully with her loving family surrounding her at the UNC Hospice House in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
Judith was born on February 20, 1944 in Haywood County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Ulas Case and the late Vernie Clontz Case. Growing up everyone loved Judy. She graduated from Canton High School and later began her working career at Champion Paper where she was a dedicated and loyal employee for many years.
Judy was a kind and caring lady who faithfully read her Bible and found great strength in her faith. Her love for animals was profound, especially for her cats, whom she cared for and loved and who were just like family to her. She delighted in feeding the birds and squirrels, always finding peace in caring for God's animals. Also, in remembering Judy, we could never forget her great love of football!
While Judith loved Florida, her heart truly belonged to the mountains where she had settled. Her great love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with each of them.
The loss of Judy deeply saddens our hearts, but we find great peace in knowing she is in her glorious home in Heaven, reunited with her mother and father and those who have passed before her. We give thanks for Judy's wonderful life and the 80 years we were blessed to have her.
Her gentle spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
Surviving are her three loving sisters who Judy cherished with all her heart, Mary Lou Milner, Norma Cole, and Elizabeth Boone; a wonderful grandson, Austin Jenkins and wife, Jessica and two very special great-grandchildren, Riley and Zander. She was also blessed with nieces and nephews who she adored and spoiled rotten, Kathey Ingle, Bruce Ingle, Pam Kaller, Karen Boone and the late Debbie Mills; also her great-nieces, Morgan (Darius), Madison, and Chris McInerney; and many dear friends.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Judy's hospice nurse, Tabitha Moffitt, for her tireless work and caring hands.
To honor Judy's request, no services will be held at this time.
Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is deeply honored to be caring for Judy and her family.
