David Calvin Crisp, 70, of Asheville, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at the Laurels of Summit Ridge.
A native of Haywood Co., he was a son of the late Archie and Irene Crisp. Mr. Crisp was a 1968 graduate of Mars Hill College, with a degree in Business Administration. He retired from Ballard Appliance Co., and he served in the National Guard.
Mr. Crisp is survived by his wife, Margaret Turpin Crisp; a brother, Charles Crisp and wife Mimi; mother-in-law Loretta Turpin; sister-in-law Brenda Wallace; special friend Roberta Pearcy; nieces, Susan (Pat), Katherine, Caroline, Tiffany (Jeff) and Tanya (Brian); great-nephews Daniel and Ryan; and many other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Stan Welch and the Rev. Dr. John Turpin officiating.
